"EXPRESS YOUR WRAPTURE IN STYLE"
In April of 2001, a fateful trip to the Georgia Renaissance Festival awakened a creative fire that has been burning ever since….
Heather Trundle has been living in Georgia with her husband and three children since August 1999. She grew up an Army Brat and has spent her life traveling from place to place…living in different states and different countries. She has always been creative, but focusing mainly on threadwork and yarns. In 2001, a trip to the Georgia Renaissance Festival ended with a trip to a craft store for her first set of pliers and a coil of cheap aluminum wire. Heather soon found out that wire is an extension of thread and yarn and the ability to create a beautiful piece of wearable art came naturally.
During the day, she wears a lab coat and is the Senior Research and Development Chemist for Plaid Enterprises, Inc. During the evening, after the children are in bed and night has fallen, she is a wire jewelry artist. After the first year of learning to create jewelry, her husband informed her that she needed to stop making jewelry or start selling it because her new hobby was taking over the dining room…so Moonlight Wrapture (formally Moonlight Creations) was born.
Heather designs unique wire sculpted jewelry using Sterling Silver and 14kt Gold Filled wire. Her creations incorporate stone cabochons, faceted semi-precious gemstones, pearls, shells, and any other items that can be fashioned into unique pieces of jewelry. She has the ability to bend, sculpt, and wrap wire into pendants, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and more. Her creations have been featured in the Gwinnett Business Journal, Gwinnett Daily Post, and Women’s Metro Directory.
Heather has the pleasure of creating and selling her wearable art. Since 2005 she has also had the satisfaction of teaching her art to others. Heather teaches at C-3 Studios in Duluth, Forsyth Parks and Recreation, and other private classes.
Her love and obsession for the art of wire sculpting translates into a mission statement that embodies all she stands for.
